Our workshop is open to any artist that loves the art of the landscape — Andy will be talking about photography, but if you're a painter, illustrator, or other visual artist, he would love to have you along.

A journey through the wilderness of Desolation and Gray Canyons on the Green River should not be rushed. Most river trips run through the canyons as quickly as possible, but on this trip, you will be on rivertime, giving you the time to explore this inspiring environment. Andy will treat you to some of the most breathtaking locations along the Green River, help you take spectacular shots, and edit your best photos. If you love desert landscapes, this workshop will not disappoint.

“Being so remote, surrounded by great people, and free of modern responsibilities was soul cleansing. I'd recommend it to anyone artistically stuck."

RAFTING the Wild and Scenic Green River, through Desolation and Gray Canyons in Utah.

“I love Desolation Canyon. It’s an extraordinary place. Full of high canyon walls, lush cottonwood stands, hoodoos, balance rocks, and intriguing side canyons. It’s a place carved by water, wind, and time. It’s impossible to capture in a single image, but it’s fun to try. Sharing this special place with a small group of explorers appeals to me. I want to bring fellow creatives down this river, so they can experience the magic of this place. It’s an opportunity to see this area through different eyes. I hope you’ll join me.”
